LIGNUM: VERONA'S FURNITURE IN THE WORLD

Participating companies: CONSORZIO DI TUTELA DEL MOBILE DI VERONA, ARTEFERRETTO SRL, F.LLI BIANCHINI SRL, MOBILSEDIA 2000 SRL, MOBILFERRO SRL

The Verona Furniture Protection Consortium acted as leader for two distinct projects, financed by the POC
of the Veneto Region 2014-2020, with the aim of helping the aggregated companies to develop a project
internationalization municipality to relaunch the Verona furniture sector.

The interventions involved a series of specialist consultations whose set objectives were:

-> Provide companies with a stable business organization in the commercial sector, with the creation of a correct and modern marketing apparatus;

-> Focusing of the “Mobile di Verona” brand from a territorial perspective which, in addition to bringing benefits to companies that participated in the tender, served to highlight even the smallest companies in the District, drawing global attention to Verona as a land of wood and wooden furniture;

-> Creation of a common e-commerce that acts as a showcase for the products of the companies under the banner
municipality of the “Lignum” logo;

->Effective presence at international trade fairs in the sector in order to maximize profits outputs deriving from participation in them;

->Increase in incoming to the territory (a topic on which the District has already been working for years) in order to
enhance and spread the image of the district in the world.

For the realization of the “LIGNUM: VERONA FURNITURE IN THE WORLD” project, the companies
participants saw the following contributions approved by the Veneto Region:

• F.LLI BIANCHINI SRL → €82,003.00
• MOBILSEDIA 2000 SRL → €54,277.00
• MOBILFERRO SRL → €31,868.00
